Throttle play?

Hello, all! Picked up my new NT this past weekend, and I couldn't be happier. I've loved these bikes for a long time and am stoked to finally have one.

I notice there's a little bit of play in the throttle. I don't know if that's the right way to describe it, but there's maybe a 1/3 of an inch to twist/free movement before it will actually affect throttle. Is that normal for this bike or does something need to be adjusted/tightened/what have you?

A simple external adjustment where the throttle cables enter the throttle assy will fix that.

When I first got my NT in Dec 2009, I had the opposite problem. Coming from only bikes with carburetors, I wasn't accustomed to the throttle making the engine react almost instantly because of the Fi. I had to add more throttle freeplay to make it comfy for me.
