My NT's fuel injector pump stared making noise. It was an irregular pulsing noise once it warmed up.
The local dealer diagnosed it as a failing pump, ordered a new one and then installed it. It never actually failed, it started making noise.

It was covered under warranty but would have cost $450 plus an hour's labor to install it. The bike is just under four years old and has 48,000 miles on it.

The dealer says that the noise is atypical. Usually the pumps just stop without warning!

Anyone have a similar experience? Or am I just lucky?

Dave

You're lucky it was under warranty. I don't remember hearing of any other fuel pump failures, so you're unlucky, too. :)
