It did! I got 55 miles in a loop south, east, and north of the house. It sure felt good to be back on the bike. While I was on US-85 south of LaSalle, there was a wreck slowing traffic. It gave me the chance to practice my slow speed crawl-with-traffic skills. 
How did your knee and your hand feel after your trip?

They both felt pretty good. I was tired, and the knee (both legs, actually) was tired. But it was OK.
