So now help us who don't know about clutch cable maintenance - what kind of oil or lubricant do you use, and how often?
P.S. I just went out to Pittsburgh,PA and took Eric's Stay'n Safe class and found it extremely useful.

I don't think "often" is true anymore. The cables Honda uses have a liner that's friction free. I've never lubed my cable. The pivot point is another deal. This cable's got over 60K miles on it.

I use ACF-50 but ordinary oil like engine oil or 3 in 1 will do. http://learchem.com/industry/motorcycle.html
