There are no readily available bolt on aftermarket exhaust for the the NT. There is one replacement system sold in Europe for the Deauville but it is just as restrictive and heavy since it has to meet EU specs. See this thread for one owners solution...

As far as saddles go, IMNSHO, the Russell Daylong is by far and away the best saddle. I've had two, the first one on my two '99 Kawasaki Concours lasted me about 120,000 miles until I traded for the NT in '10. I rode the NT for a bit over 15,000 miles before I got a Russell for it. I've never had any discomfort on the Russell.

Sargent makes a good saddle and there's a European saddle that Jim Moore ("jmoore" on the Forum) that looks good.

Delkevic in the UK makes a good product:

I have one on my Triumph Sprint GT - it's at least 10 pounds lighter than stock and really brought the "sport" out of the sport-touring. Between the exhaust and re-mapping the computer I gained 7 horsepower on the dyno with much better throttle response. I may put one on the NT this winter if I get bored...

    Cheers,

I've had a Corbin in three bikes, the one on my NT is very comfortable. Many day rides over 400 miles in complete comfort! BB

Purchased a used Sargent from a nt-owner.org member, after a couple more years use I sent it to Sargent for a recover and additional seat padding....Wonderful.
