Problem with Ignition Key

Went to start today and key was stuck in "OFF" position.After fiddling around with it for a couple of minutes I was finally able to move it to the "ON" position.The lock cylinder seems like its loose-doesn't have that solid feel.
Any help would be sppreciayed.

my key wouldn't open gas tank, had to use my spare. make sure key is not twisted, l needs to be flat and straight. if you need to straighten it, use plyers to flatten. key got twisted in the cylinder from additional stuff on key ring

I also have a key issue, about 50% of the time I have trouble inserting the key. Once in all works as it should. BB

I lube all my lock cylinders with Lock-Ease every six months or so. Makes 'em work real smooth.
