I did have an XL350, but no matter how hard I tried, it would not stay on the surface of the water, (unless it was January and frozen).

No, that wasn't me in the ad. My wife said that "We don't do motorcycles; they're too dangerous." And I didn't until she moved out.

It might have been Malcom Smith. He could ride. 'Specially on the water.

I think it was. Here he is in 2010. I flashed back and forth between a frozen image in the commerical and the wide mouth and ears look correct.

It was Malcolm. I don't think he ever rode Honda's in competition however. Since he was not identified in the commercial I guess it didn't really matter.
