After I arrived at work this am, one of my driver's said that my rear tire on Traveller had a big knot on it. Sure enough a blister the size of a golf ball was on the left chicken strip. I have a trip planned in October to the New England states so I was gonna replace it beforehand but I would have waited another week or two to do so. I'm glad he spotted it 'cause it could have been mighty exciting had it blown on the Interstate. Can't complain tho' this Roadsmart 2 lasted right at 18K miles. I ordered a new Roadsmart 3 that will be installed Friday. It is not the same size as the OE tire. It is a 160/70 which according to my calculations is less than 2% different than the OE size. For whatever reason, Dunlop chose not to offer the RS 3 in "our" rear tire size. The RS 3 is supposed to be even longer lived than the RS 2. We shall see.
