Actually 175,006 today on my way home from work. Where is the nice award button for 175K?? Do you turn on that option in the software to show more? I will shortly need a 200K in about 10 months. All hail the NT700V!!

Congratulatioins Dave, that is pretty remarkable. About 30,000 miles per year. That is about double what I got on my NT, but winter riding around here isn't practical. Maybe if I had studed tires - - -. Nah! Too cold and too much salt.

It speaks well of the rider and the machine to pile on that many miles. I don't know of anyone who is even close to beating you at this point.

I'm not too far from making it to 125,000 miles -- only (only?) 50,000 miles behind! Congratulations, Dave. I don't know if I'll spring for a 200,000 mile sticker for you or not. :)

The only bike that would be close is the one that Woodaddict sold. There sure isn't a bike/owner combo anywhere within striking distance. Keep rolling them on!

Well done!

I'll be hassling Phil in about 4 months for a 100,000 miles. I'm hoping to do it in exactly 8 years of ownership. We'll see...

I am not sure if I am more impressed with the motorcycles or the riders. I guess I will tip my hat to all of you.

Phil, you mean Rustinpeace. he sold it at 158,000 miles. i'm sure new owner would not be putting on miles like him. this person might have sold it after fixing the dangling wire problem

Duh... I would have known who I meant if I had read the post before I posted it. I'm equally sure the new owner isn't putting on miles like Rustinpeace did, but it sounded like he was happy with the bike after he got that issue figured out.

Great going...Dave! :)

I sold my '97 PC800 (bought new in '98) with 102k on the odometer after I took delivery of my NT700V in Dec 2009. The PC still had the original water pump but I had to replace the NT's pump at around 50k. Oh well...still can't gripe because the NT's been a faithful beast that has taken me to the Left Coast several times, to Nova Scotia, etc. Besides tires and necessary farkles, I really haven't spent any money on it.

Wow! That's a lot of miles....lets see, I haven't been able to ride as much as I'd like this year...it just took me 13 months to go from one oil change to the next (4k intervals) so looks like I'll get to 175k in just 39.8 years...right after I turn 97....it's always good to have goals....just shy of 40 years....I think I can, I think I can, I.......

I'm fairly confident he probably hasn't sold my old NT and doesn't plan to sell it. :)
