    Introduction

    Good Morning All,

This is my first motorcycle. I have a 2010 Gray NT700V. Great bike to ride, have had the bike for about 3 years now. Rode it to Sturgis with friends in 2015. I am joining to see what quirky items on the bike need to be addressed or repaired. I enjoy hearing how people can take care of their own issues and share them with others. Hope I can return the favors. Ride Safe!

Welcome to NT-World, Darwin. We've got a great Forum with lots of friendly and helpful people who'll be able to answer your questions. The only really consistent issues have been with the pannier latching system. I've had two final drive rebuilds due to mechanics failing to lube the splines after a tire change. The first one ended up not costing me anything because I still had an extended warranty. The second one cost me way less than it should have because my original dealer gave me a huge break on parts and labor. Other than that, in 125,000+ miles, mine has not had any major issues.

After 60k: only fork seals and steering head bearings. Never been stranded.

    Welcome Aboard...

As you already heard from longtime owners of this bike. It's time you hear from someone that has owned this bike several months.

I have owned my bike a little over 3 months now and I have not experienced any issues with. The more I ride this bike, the more I love it. This bike is not a powerhouse or a street racer. It has enough power to send you down the highway and into the occasional problem if you so desire. The suspension is good, not great and was done on the budget side. The handling is surprisingly good in most road situations such as city streets, interstates, and in the mountain twisties. The ergonomics are pretty good and only require some minor tweaking to get them to your personal taste. A set of handlebar raisers will definately be needed to bring the riding posture more upright. I was fortunate mine already had them installed when I got the bike.

Let us know if there's anything else you would like to know about this bike.
