Just finished installing a set of Motolights on my wife's NT. They are brushed aluminum with the knurled rings. These are the high output LED lights. I few "tweaks" were required so I hope this is helpful to others thinking of a similar install. My photobucket site contains the pictorial steps on the install.

They look real good, Rob. Thanks for the pictorial, too.

I have installed mine a little higher up, on the mudguard mounts.
I have them wired through a waterproof "on-on" micro switch on the handlebars so that I can have them on with ignition/low beam or only with high beam as I choose.
I have also very recently fitted an LED daytime running lamp below the headlamp.
It is a low profile unit. It fits very nicely and looks great (at least I think so!)
I don't have any pictures yet but I will try to take and post in a few days time.
I am off for an overnighter in the morning, 750km return.
