Chris, your picture of the tube didn't come through for me. But your comment about the crawling critters reminds me that one big beetle kept making for Rick's tent the first year we were in Spearfish. I think he flipped it away several times before he "accidentally" stepped on it.

I went grocery shopping a couple hours ago at my local Publix and they sell the small 02Cool fans! There they were sitting on the shelf in the battery /computer / hardware section... Publix is about the last place I would have expected to see them. $13.49 for one that looked like the one WVRider linked. So now if you are in the southeast, and need a fan, you a have a grocery store source...

i ordered the 5" O2 as well. was $9.77 from joe's link on amazon.

seems small enough to pack, and will probably help a lot on a sweaty night.

Well, I was in Wahlgreens and found small fans. About 6" dia. Runs on USB, wall plug or 4 AA batteries. Works really well. Was on sale for $6 so I bought one. Folds up. Not as small as I'd like, but, won't break on me when packed.

Will let you know how it works when we take the trip in Aug. ;)
