So I saw these on motorcycle gear's daily email. They are small, batter-operated led's that screw onto your valve stems and are motion activated. Interesting idea, and they're only $13, available in four different colors and a couple different shapes.

Anyone heard of or have any experience with these? They seem kind of gimmicky to me and not sure I like the idea of adding something to the valve stems, but the "micro" versions do look pretty small.

This page is from motorcycle gear's website.

This page is the manufacturer's site showing the different wheel lights.

Here is a search on Amazon, where the red ones are under $8

Given the price, I bet the batteries don't last terribly long and they're likely to crack, or let air out of your tires or something. Interesting idea - I'd be more interested if they were a steady light rather than blinking.

I looked at something like Lunasee, however one needs to be cautious of motorcycle laws as here in Maryland they could likely be considered illegal (attaching any non-engine lighting to wheels). That being said, these are glow-tape and look cool as hell. At least one rider here in Virginia (Woodaddict) has these and from his video they look great.

They can't be any heavier than the Tire Pressure sensors I've got mounted on my metal valve stems. :)

I've seen Woodaddict's Lunasees and they really are great.

Don't the power lines get tangled up in the wheel hubs?

They are battery powered?

Oh.
