When I purchased my NT just over a year ago, it still had the original equipment Bridgestones (BT023). I replaced the worn to wear bar Bridgestones with PR4s at 7800 miles. I just ordered a new set of replacement PR4s as I am very pleased with how my NT handles with them (wet or dry) and 16400 miles traveled to reach the wear bars. Yes the PR4s are pricey, but the handling and excellent treadwear makes them a great deal.
If you bought a 2010 model which your avatar would indicate you did, the original tires were BT020. If your had BT023's they were replacements.

Thanks Warren. I posted from memory because I didn't record the used tires in my maintenance log. And that went well :rolleyes1:

They were definitely Bridgestones, but I am not positive now as to the model. My NT is a 2010 and at purchase had 6072 miles on the odometer... I would think they were original equipment.

Your not-quite-8K miles on down-to-the-wear bar tires sounds about right for original equipment BT-20s. I replaced my OEM tires at 6K miles because they looked like they had another 2,000 or so miles left in them and I was leaving on a 4,000-mile trip.

I have been running the T30's for many years now. I am quite pleased with this tire and its performance. I ran them on an ST1300, NC700X and Zero SR. The tire performed very well on these bikes and I plan on putting a set on NaTalie at first opportunity.

I got a flat tire yesterday on the rear exiting the freeway less than a mile from my house. I rode the bike home on the flat through the neighborhood. The rear tire is an Avon RoadRider that has visible cracking on the sidewalls as the last owner put it on about two years ago and let the bike set without use. This a perfect excuse for me to put on a T30 on NaTalie than I first planned.

I got the T30 installed on the rear yesterday afternoon. I got about 50 miles on it already and should have that slick layer broken through now. I couldn't be any happier.

Bridgestone realized that too and immediately came out this the EVO to address those issues. Only EVOs are available now. To answer your question, it is an EVO.
