I usually wear ear plugs riding but happened to take it in for a safety without them and was surprised how whiny it was at middle speed ( 20-40 mph )
Is this normal??
thanks

MacDoc, the whiny drive train is a feature of the NT, not a problem and it's a good reason to always wear earplugs.I usually wear ear plugs riding but happened to take it in for a safety without them and was surprised how whiny it was at middle speed ( 20-40 mph )

VOCAL? More like yelling across a crowded room! I panicked soon after I bought the bike, at 18,000km, as I thought it was falling apart. 36,000km later it is still the same and I don't hear it any more (Bluetooth MP3 helps A LOT!). In my mind, it now runs quieter than it did when I bought it. LOL.The diff is very vocal on overrun. You tune it out after a while.
hhahahaha I agree, this feature lets you know your speed even if speedo is broken. And the changing frequency is a gear indicator.MacDoc, the whiny drive train is a feature of the NT, not a problem and it's a good reason to always wear earplugs.
