Seems that the BMW folks have forgotten that safety gear isn't just for falling down.....it is also for the impact that results when cars pull out or turn in front of you!

So I guess that means that if you ride with a sidecar or any other three wheeler you shouldn't need any safety gear? BMW builds some fairly awesome bikes, but I think their marketing dept. has taken one too many knocks on the head
