Spark plug caps - NGK ones are cheap and readily available - no need to go OEM.

Check your exhaust. Where the downpipe goes behind the chrome heat shield.

I had a similar problem when the bike was hot and it was an exhaust clamp which had broken and worked loose.

According to the bulletin the updated parts have the NGK Logo and rib at the bend. I took the caps off my bike tonight and found that they appear to be the replacement part. Mine have the NGK logo and the rib at the bend. But for 6 bucks each on amazon w/free shipping I ordered new ones. Figured since I'm in the deep why not.

Interesting, I noticed something on the inside of the caps I took off. Where the spark plug top goes into the brass cap I noticed what I think is burn marks on the inside if the sleeve. That is on the inside but no cracks or marks on the outside. Any body have any ideas about that? Thanks Matt

FYI - for anybody who might be interested it took me maybe 45 minutes to get both caps off.

It will go faster next time....
