I am checking the Forum and the "What's new" display at the top tells me I've got 2 messages. But when I click there, I am told that I have no unread messages. I don't remember this happening before.
 
Yes, it has happened to me several times. It seems as though if you just click on the header and don't read the posts it doesn't clear the what's new register immediately.

Well, I read every post I could see, so I still don't know what it is.
 
Mine appears to be working normally.
Might be that coal present thing.

I got more coal! Now the Forum says I've got eight unread messages. But if I do, they're invisible. I can't find them anywhere.
 
I've noticed the problem more when I access the forum on my phone vs the PC. Are you using your phone as well?

I get a bunch. I've read through all the new posts yet still have several that says unread. After going through them all I usually have to click "Mark Forums Read" to get rid of it.

If it happens, go back into the thread for a moment and the click back out and it usually clears the register. At least it works for me.
