Love it
The roads are just beautiful, No gravel, no pot holes, and smooth, smooth. I need to get back over there again for some more riding. Was over in Sumer of 2019 to ride Northern Austria and Southern Bavaria. Was going to come back this past summer but Covid 19 got in the way. A couple of pictures from my ride in Austria with my rental V-Strom
Great picture of you and her and the Bikes.
Currently all borders closed down, one requires a test/confirmation and is put under 2 weeks safety quarantine upon re-entering the state...Can you ride in the other EU countries IE; Germany, Italy, or are the boarders closed because of the Virus?
Since many years I'm mulling over the concept of shipping the ST across the pond and spend like 6~12 months riding over there...I doubt I'll get back to Europe, but who knows?
LOL! :LOL:If you do, there are lots of us with "helpful" suggestions on where you might want to ride.
This is an interesting concept that I looked at going the other way. Shipping a bike to Germany and long term storage when not in use.Since many years I'm mulling over the concept of shipping the ST across the pond and spend like 6~12 months riding over there...
We've a guy on ST-Owners from Ontario who has an ST1100 stored over here...This is an interesting concept that I looked at going the other way. Shipping a bike to Germany and long term storage when not in use.
Well, the concept was to get my ST over and ride it there, license plate and everything...Have you thought of purchasing and later selling a used USA bike?
Sorry, I always get these two countries mixed up. From an American that never had left his own continent.
LOL, they're selling T-shirts with that design over here...I’m sure that this is a common occurrence, thus the reason for the sign you had on the ready.
The French get it mixed up and they live in Europe!Sorry, I always get these two countries mixed up. From an American that never had left his own continent.
