The one with a solo seat is an uuuugggly spud, and with no rear fender, how practical is that? Thanks, but, no thanks.

I don't think practicality was the objective. I do however generally like Roland Sands designs over a lot of the other custom bike builders.

Sam, I beg to respectfully differ about the Paralever suspension and its effect on weight transfer.

Due to the way the linkage is designed, there is no dive under heavy braking. But, physics being what it is, I can guarantee you that there is weight transfer forward and that the front tire is much more heavily loaded than the rear even in the absence of dive.
