Dinged Pannier Lid

For any of you who were wondering what happens to a large pannier lid when it bites the pavement, here is the photographic evidence:

Tromper, I'm like you. I'm not sure I like the "look" but I'd probably do it if I could find a decent rubber strip. I'm thinking he said he got his from Pep Boys. Ain't no Pep Boys around here and when I go online to their site, I can't find that kind of thing.

I think he said it was an auto trim part from some specific car made in France or Italy or there-abouts.

Phil, If it were me I would get it repainted. probably cost a 100 to 200 bucks and then keep them for a spare, so when you do it again.

The only thing I found that is "close" so far is "Corner Strips" for Bumpers... The problem is a lot of them are very narrow, and fairly high, and that style could increase the damage in a SAD rather than help... I'll post when I find something I like...
