This year I am once again taking part in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride to raise funds and awareness for mens health on behalf of Movember, and I need your help.
Movember is the world’s largest men’s health organisation focused on universal, game-changing and realistic outcomes for prostate cancer and men's mental health.
Prostate Cancer Statistics
  • Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men.
  • 307,000 men will die from prostate cancer each year.
Suicide Prevention – Men’s Mental Health
  • Suicide is the biggest killer of men aged 20-39, with ¾ of all suicides being male.
  • 510,000 men die from suicide each year, that's one every minute.
This is a number that we seek to drastically change and can only be made possible through raising funds and awareness to help prevent men from dying too young.
Please support me on my ride by going to https://www.gentlemansride.com/fundraiser/mikesim and making a donation to help fund men's health programs, and will help benefit men all over the world.

Or, better yet, learn more at www.gentlemensride.com , find your city and join me in a day of fun and working toward a great cause!

Thank you,

Mike

Interesting combo of two factors in mens health.
.

My dad tried to kill himself after loosing mom at age 80. He kind of succeeded as MSRA got him in the hospital. I have had periods in my life where I have sat on my bed in my dorm with a gun, out of loneliness and shyness. I couldn't even talk to girls at 22. Tomorrow I board a cruise ship to Alaska, and there will be lots of people to talk with. When I get home, I have my second prostate MRI. Kind of a CYA as mine was weeping a touch of blood after run/walking 5 miles a day on a treadmill for too many montbs.
Best wishes on your cause. I would add low T. It weakens the heart, dulls the mind, and kills joy. I chose not to go through andropause. At least that is a choice. Stay well, be with people, and talk with girls.IMG_20240202_165923039.jpg
