I have a new NT700 with about 700 miles. Engine temp stays at about 1/4 cool never reaches mid range.........every water cooled bike I have is always at mid point. Has anyone had this?

That's about what I see in cool weather. Occasionally in hot weather, when I'm stopped, I'll see the temp over the half-way mark.

I'm also at the 1/4 mark, when at a light in hot weather it will go up to, or a little over 1/2 then my fan comes on. After starting off again it doesn't take much to bring the temp back down.

The reason I noticed this and had some concerns was: years ago on an ST1300 the thermostat stuck in the open position and it stayed cool (2 bars on the temp gauge)............I was just wondering if I had the same situation on my new NT.

The VFRs have had problems with stuck thermostats too.
