I am over 35k miles now and the brake pads need replacement. How many miles are others getting on their NT's?

That's about right. I changed out the OEM front pads around early 30Ks. Rear done much earlier

I commuted on my NT everyday in city traffic so my brakes got a good workout. I had to change the pads at about 20K

My original front brakes lasted until the fateful Gainesville, FL, stop during my Epic Ride. Those originals went 71,427 miles. I replaced them with EBC organic pads (PN FA388) and they lasted 42,249 miles. I'm pretty sure I've got OEM pads back on the bike now. If they go 71K miles again, I won't have to replace brake pads till 185,000 miles.

About 45K highway miles on first front pads. They would have made 50K though.

My riding is probably 80% country(touring with a full load of camping gear)/20% social suburban (not commuting) and I still have all original brakes at 100,oookm (62,ooo miles).
They are getting thin now but should be OK for another 10-20,oookm.

I got a bit more than that however have never really been concerned. I ride pretty hard and use front brake probably a bit more than most and have nearly 73K on the NT. I have always replaced with OEM because I like how they feel, perform and wear.
