Fuel tank spooge hose

Has anyone re-routed this hose? There is absolutely no way this thing doesn't kink the way mine came from the factory. Curious if anyone else has noticed this or if its one of those who cares? items.

I have no idea which hose you're talking about. It it's an overflow hose, all I can say is that mine has never gotten kinked in nearly 30,000 miles.

On the bottom of the fuel tank, aside from the fuel line and electrical connectors there are two hoses. The smaller goes to the 'canister' on the left side of the bike. The larger is labelled as a drain hose in the shop manual and it is routed by honda down through the center frame connector. Mine always folds when the tank is lowered and I see no way it would not the way it is routed. Of course, when the tank is propped up it looks perfectly fine.

Doesn't seem to be a problem on mine. If I get a little overenthusiastic when filling the tank, the excess pisses nicely out the hose.
