Electrical NT Gurus! I need some advice on Fuse Blocks before my 2011 NT melts down into a puddle of goo. Still researching older threads here but wanted to get some current / updated advice on recommended fuse blocks for the NT, what fits and works well w/o needing an electrician's certification to install, pros & cons and should they be used with accessories that already have fuses in-line.

Current installed accessories list:
  1. Brake signal & turn kit for OEM trunk
  2. Undercarriage LED kit (dealer installed)
  3. OEM Handlebar heater grips (dealer installed)
  4. Plug/cord install on battery for connecting heated gear
  5. Denali Auxiliary lights on front wheel (dealer installed)
  6. OEM 12v socket installed in right glove-box, used to power my iPhone for GPS, etc. (dealer installed)
  7. Top Sellerie Gel custom seat w/ high/low heater (mounting now).
  8. 2-tone Denali Soundbomb horn (dealer installed)
I never use all the heated options at once with all the doodads going, nor all accessories at once - I'm aware that I'd likely overload the poor bike. I noticed if the heated grips detect too much drain they flash... which only happens right now when the power is on but the engine isn't running yet. Ironically I'm not much of a cold-weather rider so don't use the heated grips often... but handy in milder weather! As an aside I keep it on the trickle charger, always. On my second battery (installed in 2019) since I got it in 2012.

Fuse block advice welcome! Cringe where necessary. o_O

one thing i can add..........you said trickle charger?? these supply low power ALL the time. only use a battery MAINTAINER, that only puts charge on battery when needed. a trickle charger used all the time will deplete your battery quicker

Oof, I meant maintainer... working off too little sleep. Charges and then maintains the level and monitors the battery.

It would be good if you can list wattage of each items ... Mostly I am seeing Fuse blocks limited to 30A max continuous load ... I would suggest putting the Horn on its dedicted circuit...

check this out, it has multiple switched outputs... i cam across this in my own search ...

Also, I did buy a similar meter that helps measure DC current (reasonable accuracy) without breaking the circuit...

Yup, my other bike has an Eastern Beaver setup with relay-controlled 3 outlets. Works like a charm. :)
