Thanks again Brillot2000, very useful. Yes, I am quite familiar with removal of Tupperware. This was learning by doing when pasting and painting the middle cowl and pasting the headlight unit. Did not replace the unit yet, as recertification will not be before August 2021 (Merphy’s law..). Security bars ordered today, delivery ist estimated for end of next week - so I will not have to wait for Chistmas eve. French president announced this evening a 5 week curfew to fight COVID-19.
So I fear I will have a lot of time to install the Hepco bars, but no opportunity to do a test drive.
best regards
Detlef

Thanks again Brillot2000. Hepco bars installation went smoothly. Replaced headlight unit as well. Waiting for the end of lockdown in France...

.. adding a more recent image as I painted the bars a year ago..

I am very pleased to see that you got the these installed without any issues. These bars change the look of the bike for sure. Wouldn’t you agree?

I also love the color of your bike too.

Yes, fully agree - makes it ‚special‘ somehow. The color of your bike is marvelous.

Thank you. However, it did not start out like this. I was faced with a dilemma after having my accident. Fortunate for you could put yours back to OEM. Me on the other hand it was a matter of cost for me. I decided to go the path of less financial resistance and you see the results.
