I have watched alot of pilots race...I have listened to lots of pilots lecture...but Astronaut /space shuttle commander/pilot Hoot takes the cake. HIs lecture on flying the F105 in Vietnam is amazing in itself. Here he is talking about the accident that happened 135 yards away from me....

He is very approachable and interesting to talk with....after landing the space shuttles, he isnt afraid of landing race planes with blown engines. In 2011, he blew a piston. He won in 2015.
