My wife's niece, who lives in California, has "adopted" a soldier buried next to her parents. She noticed a few years ago that no one ever put flowers on his marker. Now, every time she goes to the cemetery, she takes flowers for her parents, and the soldier. She always sends pictures. Makes a person feel warm just to see her devotion to her parents and to a man she will never know.
