Left Little Switzerland, NC on Tuesday morning and rode the Parkway the rest of the way to Cherokee. Best route to my daughters from Cherokee just happened to be U.S.129 aka Tail of the Dragon. Was just gonna take it easy across it, however when there was a low amount of traffic, I couldn't help but have some fun. The ole NT still handles great even loaded with everything needed for a week long camping trip.

I have to say that out of all the activities I have done in my life, motorcycling by far has brought me the most enjoyment. Everytime I climb on Traveller and hit the start button, magically I am 16 again exploring new roads on my Honda S65.

Great pix, Duane! The last two time I was through and the only time on the NT, it was early-dark-thirty AM and none of the photographers were there. The upside is that there was no traffic.
