Hi I’m Dennis new to the site I’ve just brought a nt1100 22 plate 1400 miles on clock when I pull away it seems like it’s governed down and feels like a miss fire also not very good at low speeds ie 20 miles per hour it jerks forward any ideas before I get back to dealer who has not responded to my email yet

What gear are you in when this missfire/jerking occurs? You may be upshifting too early, causing the engine to lug. Start in first and then upshift at about 3,000 rpm and see what happens. Hondas LOVE to rev. I'm not familiar with the torque curve on the NT1100 but on the NT700 usable torque begins at 3-4 thousand rpm.

Chuffer - Our NT700Vs share nothing with the NT1100 except the name on the fuel tank. The info request should go to an Africa Twin group because the AF's engine & electronics are a lot closer to your NT1100. Good luck!

Also, you can check with anyone who has the Rebel 1100 as it appears to be the same motor.
