Looks like fun! I sure wish I trusted my artificial knees on a dual-sport. But I'm reasonably sure I'd test them more than I need to.

Do the new ones still require the dohickey fix, or did Kawasaki take care of that?

The new model doohickey was redesigned but the upgrade to the doohicky spring is still recommended by the KLR crowd. I resolved that by selling my old style KLR and get a DR650 instead. Will see how that works out this coming summer, and if not maybe I go in a completely different direction with a Ural hack
