Was at my local dealer the other day and they still have a new 2010 VFR on the showroom floor. Marked down to $12k (if I remember right). If you ever wanted one bet you could get them to cut another thousand. This is in a dealership where they rarely post discounted prices.

The last generation of the VFR used a 800 cc V-4.
If they put that motor in a new NT, Honda would not be able
to keep that bike on the floor. They would fly out the dealerships.

I have seen them advertised as low as $10K. I still want one.

The VFR1200 just doesn't trip my trigger. Can't say why...

One thing is the apparent vent that doesn't go anywhere. The whole bike looks like a styling exercise to me. The gas tank isn't big enough to give you much range...probably about 150 miles. Although, my favorite mc magazine, "Bike" from the UK, thinks it's a great bike.

I'd add a larger windshield, bags, and go. No "extra 20hp and 6 speeds" for me anymore :D
