New Years Eve, a mini Y2K event?

I doubt they're be any problems, the original Y2K bug affected older computer systems, mostly with software written in the 70's-80's, that couldn't count past year 1999. I was working with older HP mainframes at the time, and remember putting in Y2K patch tapes to get around the bug. I suppose the date 123123 could be ripe for hackers though.

Ill keep an eye on my Commodore 64. If anything happens, I'll be sure to take another drink :thumb:

You could afford to upgrade to a Commodore 64???? :oops: I think my first Win 386 was $3,000

Regarding your allusion to the date 123123, I don't know if it was exploited by hackers but I read that the wedding chapels in Vegas were overwhelmed by couples wanting to get married on that date.....
