I have heard many comments about the Pacific Coast 800, but don't remember seeing one in the flesh.

I stopped at Union Gospel Mission (UGM) Motors because I saw some two wheelers through the display windows. UGM is a charity that helps people with the challenges in their lives. The "Motors" accepts vehicle donations, repairs, rejuvenates, refreshes and sells the vehicles as a fund raiser (also provides jobs for residents). Former neighbor used to donate his time as a salesman. I would choose this place over a used car lot.

Oh, Oh! Thirty Three per cent off!
I never rode one of these, but it seems comfortable to sit on. It is a 1989 with 46,000 miles. It looks exceptionally well cared for a 34 yo vehicle and first of breed.
No room in my garage and I already have one unfinished classic.

I was driving from Loveland to Casper in '89 or '90 and stopped at a rest area and I guy was there on a PC. I had not ridden anything at the time but the PC was what tripped the trigger for me. I finally started riding in '97. A man in my church Ft Morgan, where I'd moved in '95 had a pearl white one like the one in Frosty's pix and he wanted to sell it. But, he'd dropped it and it had a long black streak on the right side and he wanted $4200 for it in '98. I ended up buying the '83 Silverwing GL650i and rode it for a year until I bought my first Kawasaki Concours. In '00, the COG Rally was a "Rolling Rally" that started at Brian Head, UT, and then went to Mt. Home, AR, and then on to the NE. I only went to the first 2 but rode with a Swedish guy and a couple from Virginia between Brian Head to Mountain Home, with a detour to Las Vegas to put the Swedish guy's wife on a plane home.

The woman was on a PC and she had no trouble keeping up with us except for one trivial detour. She was only getting about 150 miles to the tank and we were getting 240-275.

I spent about an hour night before last watching YouTube things about PCs. I still love them.

I often regret not buying one when I had a chance. It was clean, low mileage and well cared for. I've never found another one as nice as that one.

I guess it has to grow on you, It doesn’t appeal to me. To each his own.
I liked the concept...I did not like the luggage configuration nor the footpeg location...the futureistic design did not appeal to me....I went from an 1983 Wing with a wind jammer after a Yamaha XV920 RH, to the Connie C10. Also had a Yamaha 650 Seca.... I am happy with my choices for that period.

I was looking for a nice one back when I bought the NT. Due to working for Honda years ago, I knew they would last a long time, like the NT. I met a guy a couple years ago with well over 200K miles on his and still going.
Love the motor...

I had a 98 model, which was the last year they were sold state side. I took it touring all over and sold it at 32K miles. The 98
lost the hideous front fender, it was replaced with a normal looking one instead, and Honda decided to also delete the self canceling turn signals. Dare I say that its twin was smoother the the NTs, and with the self adjusting valves it never needed adjustments. It was stone reliableIt, a spaceship among mere motorbikes, and I really enjoyed its ownership.
