On my second ride of 2014 today (not bad considering the weather this year), I found that the bike seemed to run with renewed vigor and was more stable and smooth.

Did somebody plant a 4 cylinder in there when I wasn't looking?

It's great when a ride feels so pure.

You will find that most ICE's run better in the cooler air of winter and spring due to the increased density of the air charge.

Warm fuel helps also. I park inside at work and often leave for home with >70F fuel (and oil, seat....ahhh) and cool morning air. The NT feels a little extra perky in those conditions. At work we heat the fuel and cool the air intake to a gas turbine to make more power. Similar ideas.
