I just started thinking about planning a ride out west last night and I thinkI want to do Utah. I'll have 9 days to go out and back. I'm wondering if anyone has personal exp as to when the best time to go after Labor Day.
I'm already looking at Mexican Hat/Escalante Staircase run; Ending in Bryce, UT, which would include the Moki Dugway...Maybe run thru Zion. That would eat up all of my outbound time, then I will need to turn east.
Any thoughts on the weather and or places to ride? (in UT or on the way back to TX)
