Shopping fleabay - how to tell a genuine manual from a scam copy?

So I'm hunting a factory service manual for the NT and there are several on Ebay that appear to be candidates. However, years ago I got burned on a DR650 manual so now I'm skittish because digital photography and pixel enhancement can make nearly anything look legit.

What suggestions might the brain trust offer to help a noob avoid buying a cheap copy instead of the real thing?

Look for 7 real holes drilled in the left margin. Pictures should clearly show shadows in the holes.
