The panniers on your V-45 Sabre are almost identical with the ones that were on my '83 GL-650i Silverwing. In fact, they may be identical except for color.

I have times when I miss the Silverwing, too.

Those hard side bags were used on many different Honda models, including the CBX when they made it a sport touring bike.

I would buy another one in a heart beat. Not so much to ride but to look at. It was a beautiful machine. It was my second motorcycle and the configuration got me into sport touring. I had it for 14 years but only put 28000 miles on it (had to replace second gear, worn dogs and shift fork) as I moved up to a 1986 1200 Goldwing and then to a ST1100 back then. Brings back a bunch of memories.
