... liquids, filters, spark plugs, new tires ...
and other things you do while at it, wheel bearing seals repacked with marine grease, damaged O-ring at the rear wheel bearing boss replaced with a more rigid polyurethane one...

having your own machine also provides the stress free opportunity to carefully clean the old rubber sticking to the wheel bed with a brass wire-wheel in your cordless drill,
a simple task deliberately ignored by tire-monkeys at the shops ...

The Bridgestone T30 EVO was my favorite tire for many years. I first ran these on my 2004 ST1300, then my NC700X, and lastly DIVA. The introduction of the T31 made them also immediately obsolete here in the States.

The last tire that I ran on DIVA was a T31. I got nearly 8,000 miles of that tire. I was quite pleased with the performance of the T31. It had a few improvements over the T30 EVO. The first was an increase in mileage with my driving habits.

They just announced the Bridgestone T32 to supersede the T31. I will be migrating to those as soon as the T31s are no longer available in my bikes sizes.

I get my money’s worth out of all my tires. All my street bike have “Feathering” on both of the side threads. I once had a shop mechanic comment on the thread feathering. He said, “Man, it looks like you know how to ride.” I simply responded with, “I can hold my own with the best of them.
