I use the Rok straps as well. I typically used the nylon straps but threw down some extra $$ on the rok straps and have to say I prefer that option now. Never been a fan of bungee cords but use what works for you.

No reason to be sorry, it's a good option and there are many out there. You just pick the one that works for you and it's good to see the options so you have choices.

I like adjustable bungee cords.

ROK straps are just another version of adjustable bungee cord.

So, please do post about those. I have been using a version that is a bit more expensive so i like the price.

I use straps that look like the ROK, are adjustable, but do not stretch. I like to lash things down tight. They are a buck each at Walmart. I have had two of them since 05 and bought six more 3 or 4 years ago. All eight still work perfectly. For the price they cannot be beat. They are usually in camping, but sometimes in auto.
