OK, I installed the Honda top box last night. I've never had a box like this before, so I'm wondering, why is the mounting rack designed to have some movement, side to side? It's mounted with teflon washers into elongated holes and the instructions say to make sure it moves freely. What is the purpose of this feature? Probably a real newb question, but like I said I have no experience with this type of gear so I'm really cluless.
