I finally got the courage to remove the tupperware from my bike and now I want to replace the turn signal bulbs. My O'Reilly guy doesn't have the bulb and was unable to cross it to another P/N

Can someone help me?

The Service Manual has never had P/Ns.

If you want to buy the OEM bulb go to a site such as "CheapCycleParts" and look it up but I believe an easier way is to go to an auto parts store. Just take the original bulb with you so you can match the contacts at the base and the pin locations.

In a pinch, I put an 1156A in mine... seems to work just fine Clay.
The pins on the OE bulb are offset, in other words they are not 180 degrees apart. An 1156A will work in a pinch if you take a file and file off one of the pins. The bulb you need is available at O'Reilly but the number escapes me. Have your O'Reilly guy look it up in his powersports section of the O'Cat.. it is there... it is a Sylvania 7XXX something. I will post the number tonight if you still havent found it.

I believe the bulb is a 7507. Single filament with offset pins on the base. Amazon.com says it fits front and rear on the NT700
Amazon.com has a two pack, amber 21 watt for under $9.00

The bulb standard for the base is BAU15S. Here's a diagram of the base, see below.

There are tons of LED Replacement bulbs available on the market today in this configuration. However, you will need to install Load Stabilization Resistors in order for them to function correctly with the electronic flasher unit used on the NT. Which I explained in post #11 in this Thread, Brillot2000 - Turn Signal Module - How Does It Work???.

Here's a link to the incandescent bulb available on Amazon. CEC Industries #7507 (Amber) Bulbs, 12 V, 21 W, BAU15s Base, Box of 10.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

The bulb is a 7507 and is available at any O'Reilly store.
