Bike?

Coyote, it's 2025 man. Load whatever photo you got in Google's Lens, Apple's Visual Intelligence. It'll AI scan it and figure out what you're looking at.

V-Strom 250. The girl only you know.
I think Japanese lady tourers/ campers conceal their real identity on instagram. I like the idea of this bike....I still love my 650 but its getting taller every year as I get more infirm.,. Screenshot_20250928-184512_copy_1080x1251.png

Where is Kawasaki and Triumph? I would have expected to see them somewhere near or above Royal Enfield.

Mike

Kawasaki Global Sales Performance is disappointing. In the first six month 2025 global registrations have been 244.887 (-2.9%), although a strong performance in Latin and North America. The manufacturer is losing terrain under Chinese and Indian competitors.

Triumph Motorcycles Global Sales hit the 5th all time record in a row. In 2024 Triumph sold 133.677 motorcycles globally (+33.6%) over doubling volumes in 5 years and the sales in the 250-500cc have been 54.000, much more than any other “premium” OEM.

Thanks for the stats! I woulda thunk that Kaw and Triumph would have sold more than that. I know in India, RE is a force to be reckoned with. It is a matter of national pride.

I follow some Japanese biker ladies who hawk for RE. The size and roads of Japan would make a RE more appealing.....

I've bought one new bike in my whole life. it was a 1975 Honda CB450 - the worst bike I ever owned.
The only used bike I have ever bought was a YM1 Yamaha 305 twin two stroke from my brother circa 1966.....the other 30 were all great bikes in their own way except for an SR 500 Yamaha, which I kept 3 days and traded it back in.... worst bike I ever owned.
