First time out on the newly acquired NT700 this morning...

I am not sorry I bought this motorcycle. This is the smallest displacement machine I have owned in many years and once I got used to the power curves, it made me remember why I started riding about 60 years back.

This thing is fun.

Fun is what it is about. With Spring getting here you can have a bunch of fun soon.

I am really enjoying my NT700. At this point, it's the most enjoyable bike I've owned.

I felt the same way when I got mine....I saw one at the EAA Oshkosh flyin at the Honda Pavilion...It was one of the fast red ones and I loved everything about it but the pannier size was a deal killer. Then I got on this forum and found out that for $500 you could order real pannier lids from England. Ordered a left over site unseen and never road one till I took it home. I had many great years on it and met some wonderful people on this forum who I have known for years and have had many years of enjoyment at the rallies and still do. Just by Honda bringing bikes to Oshkosh, all this changed my life for the better. But time passed and I found myself choosing the Nt less and less to ride out of my stable....and I fell in love with a VFR. And the Nt is gone. I am glad I had it but dont miss it. Kind of like my first wife. Here is a pic from our 2012 rally. Seems like yesterday. Some of you can pick out some of the names.

I also have owned a VFR and it is the most regretted sale I ever made. I thought about buying one recently, 2000 model like mine, but age overruled it.

I am 76 and love my 2015. But I am flexable and 6 ft 1 in. I did put risers on the bars...I also have an adjustable lip on the tall windscreen I put on. Its much easier to paddle around than my FJR, which I have to be careful of as it is top heavy like the NT.
