I am having much trouble getting the brackets for my top box mounted. The nuts in the grab rails work fine for the screws near the seat, the ones near the tail light will not screw in. I've removed the grab rails and screwed the bolts in from the bottom and then the top; but when the rails are mounted, the bolts will go about a turn and a half and stop. Didn't hae this problem last time I took these parts off.

Go over to Partzilla and pull up the NT. The Seat page has the hardware arrangement for the tail and grab rails.

It's been some years, but I did the Givi install on my NT. I recall I was missing some of the square nuts that live in recesses in the rails. I got some new ones. I had trouble keeping them in place to start the bolts into them, so I taped them in the recesses with strips of Scotch tape

Thanks! I do not find the luggage rack covered there - no listing for the top box by any name and not shown on the Frame listing. I have the nuts in place and can run the bolts through them when the hand rails are off, but not when they are mounted.

That's just going to show the hardware that's in the tail stock. Your Givi rack should have come with instructions, I checked Givi usa looks like they no longer show it. If it was still there the install .pdf would be available for download.

I bought the bike used and do not have any Givi instructions.

I got the two rear bolts working but now one of the forward bolts is binding. Will get back at that in the morning.

I bought my bike used with the Givi top bag and mount already in place, HOWEVER, the way it was mounted prevented removal of the seat with the bag in place. I didn't like that. I don't remember what I did exactly, but I know I got creative and made a couple new holes. Just had to move the mount and bag back a little bit. You may want to check to see if you can remove the seat when you are finished, or maybe move it a little.

I got it mounted. I can remove the seat with box in place.
