Should be simple but I cant get the nuts that hold it on to come off. Everything just spins. Is there a trick to getting the Honda top box off?
How does one go about removing the Honda top box?

If it is a Honda box, turn key horizontal, push in red release, lift off box.
The OEM Honda top box should be very easy to take off, no bolts to remove. The draw latch should have a plunger at he bottom to push to release the box and slide forward. If you talking about the mounting plate that does have nuts that you can reach with the seat off. I think I used a swivel box end wrench to hold the nuts, was a while ago so I guess I could be mistaken.
