I took all the body work off my NT700 to perform a valve adjustment and the other normal maintenance a month or so ago. I had to give up trying to remove the throttle bodies because I could not get that screw on the right side loose.....it is very difficult to even see ;-) I put it all back together.
My son is a very good mechanic and offered to help. He picked up the bike and I went over to his shop and removed all the body work. He got the throttle bodies off with no problem. Good to be a good mechanic and have good young eyes. We got the valves adjusted with no problem after that.
Then we found out that the air filter I bought on Amazon wasn't even close to fitting. I have one ordered now from a Honda shop and we will get the bike together soon.
Surely Honda could have made it easier to remove the throttle bodies! Oh well, the bike will be together soon and I'll be able to take a few bike trips with my son again.
