Where did you ride today?

We could hit 50 here on Sunday. I will ride my bikes. Its been a warm dry winter. My FJR is like a mother in law.....I love her but she puts on 20 lbs every year. I may still keep her for a pet. Or piece of art. If nothing else, she is beautiful. And who knows? I might have one last ride down to Southern Utah in me. Just have to be careful she doesnt take a nap at stops.

March is usually the snowiest month of the year for us here in the Denver area. But this winter the Snow Gods have stay away for the most part. Which brings me to to this week and today. This week is going to be unusually warm and today the high is going to be 83 degrees. This morning it was 60 degrees at 08:30 so I took off and headed to the High country to ride to one of my favorite destinations. Rode the NT1100 up to Evergreen and then up Mount Blue Sky to Echo Lake (10597ft), which lies at the base of the climb to The summit of Mt. Blue Sky (Mt Evans 14264ft) Beautiful ride once I was across the city in the foot hills. Total time was three hours and 15 min. from garage to the lake and back to the garage. Total miles 127. a bit chilly at Echo Lake 42 degrees and a bit warm crossing the city on the home ride. 81 degrees at 11:30.

Our congregation is having our annual Bible conference. Been riding every morning to the early sessions. 70 miles round trip on some delightful local FM roads.
