I had a wonderful visit with my college buddies in the Lake Tahoe area. I'm on my way to Spearfish and passed the 30,000mi mark on I 80 in Nevada. Too many trucks to pull over and photo the speedo. I'm in twin Falls tonight. grand Tetons tomorrow and Spearfish by Thurs evening, I hope.

I'm going to design 50K and 100K stickers for the NT. Gotta' get to work on it since I'm not too far from that 50K mark.

Then if you reach the milestone, send me a SASE and I'll get you a free milestone sticker!

OK, OK. You've shamed me into it. No more of us than there are, I think I can probably afford it ... even after I retire.

I have four bikes, that is why there is only 17K on my NT in 20 months. Can I count my total Moto milage? :smile:24000+ this year alone.:rolleyes1:

What maintenance have you done during the 48k miles?
Jerry, I had a PGM-FI issue at about 12-15,000 miles and the dealer replaced the regulator/rectfier under warranty. I was getting the "Low Voltage at the Throttle Position Indicator" signal.

Other than that, the only thing other than routine scheduled maintenance was that my dealer replaced the spark plug caps even though I hadn't had any issues that seemed to relate to that.

Good job Herb. I had new tires put on last week at 17K. I think this is a bike I'll keep for a while as Phil seems to be a model for us all to emulate and you are right up there also.
